The Meaning Behind the Name
So when we had to choose a name, we had many submissions. When I first heard Spirits I wasn’t really excited about it, but over time it quickly grew on me. I wanted to honor our entire region, the town we are playing in, and of course my brother Jimmy and others we have lost.
The region speaks for itself and anyone from this area has great pride when calling it home. SPIRIT
Alexandria’s high school mascot is a ghost. SPIRIT
Alex Bay in the summer is a great place to have an adult beverage. SPIRITS
Playing for those we have lost. SPIRITS
Everything I thought of always pointed back to SPIRITS.
It just feels right.
